September 11, 2008 marked our first Service Fair with 10 agencies/organizations
gathered in the lounge to meet our students and share information. The purpose of the Service Fair was to create awareness about possible service experiences for our students. The agencies and organizations that attended were: St. Amant, Welcome Home, Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, Pregnancy and Family Support Services, Special Olympics,Holy Names House of Peace, Misericordia Health Centre, MS Society, Siloam Mission, and Agape Table. The students are not limited to these agencies. The hope is that this introduction opens the doors to helping them see the range of options available, and the variety of needs that surround us.
